The Continental Airlines World MasterCard® from Chase is designed for those who have excellent credit and frequently travel with Continental Airlines.

Through the airline reward program, cardholders receive one mile for every dollar spent on the card, and they earn double miles at participating retailers, at participating restaurants, and for Continental Airlines tickets purchased online at www.continental.com or at a Continental Airlines ticket facility. Cardholders also receive 15,000 bonus miles after their first purchase.

The miles do not expire (a rare feature for a frequent flyer card), and there is no limit to the amount of miles that can be earned. Miles can be combined with Continental’s frequent flyer program, and they can also be redeemed through SkyTeam™ alliance partners.

The card has an above average interest rate (for a reward card), an annual fee of $85, and a low introductory rate for both purchases and balance transfers for the first six months of membership.

Cardholders can also expect access to a variety of benefits that include travel accident insurance, auto rental insurance, and purchase protection. However, what sets this card apart from the platinum card is that it has no pre-set spending limit and a personal concierge service.

Therefore, those who can afford to pay in full each month after the introductory rate expires (to avoid finance charges), frequently fly with Continental Airlines (as miles can be combined with Continental Airlines frequent flyer program), and will be able to redeem a free ticket or other travel related services within a two-year period (due to the annual fee) will benefit most from what the Continental Airlines World MasterCard® from Chase has to offer.
